METHODIST HOME MISSIONS
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
'UNFORCED: LIVING ON MISSION WITH JESUS IN THE REALITY OF EVERY DAY'
'How is Jesus inviting you to walk with him in your every day? What unique opportunities do you see for 'Unforced mission' in your context during this season of restrictions? These are challenging days for all of us. Being asked to think about mission in the midst of a pandemic could feel overwhelming, and yet the invitation comes from Jesus to work with Him wherever we are.'
Through the course of the week following our Methodist Home Mission service on 22nd November, we will offer some inspirational videos and questions for your personal or group use to guide you into a deeper understanding of how God seeks to use each one of us where we are.
For direct access to the Unforced resources PDF package as well as the videos of testimonies visit the Methodist Home Mission homepage. The inspiring resources, testimonies and missional insights are well worth checking out.
Giving towards Home Mission helps support churches and new initiatives to bring the good news of Jesus to those around them.
